10 Most Bizarre Wrestler Guest Appearances On TV Shows

8. Randy Savage On Space Ghost: Coast To Coast

Hey, just because it's awesome doesn't mean it's not weird. Before there was Adult Swim and its array of short "stoner comedy" cartoons, there was Space Ghost: Coast To Coast. It was Cartoon Network's first experiment with late night programming, starring semi-obscure cartoon superhero Space Ghost as the host of his own talk show, with villains from the original series working as production staff and part of the house band. It was completely, utterly, bizarre, but it was also consistently hilarious, and much less "weird for the sake of being weird" than more recent shows. Being that Cartoon Network was part of Turner Broadcasting, there was some corporate synergy with WCW, which led to wrestlers occasionally appearing as the live action guests. This episode was different, however, in that Randy Savage voiced a new animated character: Space Ghost's grandfather. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8wux0_sgc2c-51-piledriver_latino He completely owns the show, taking over for his grandson and interviewing a young Raven Symone of all people while asking if she ever met any of the men he (as in Grandpa Space Ghost, not Randy Savage) had beaten, and they're all actual famous pro wrestlers. A totally amazing, must-see piece of entertainment.
