10 Most Bizarre Wrestler Guest Appearances On TV Shows

7. Triple H On Pacific Blue

This one, from the height of the Attitude Era, is on here for just how strange the scripting and plotting are. Pacific Blue was a low-budget show about bicycle cops on the beach in California, and it aired right after Sunday Night Heat (when it was the strong number two show behind Monday Night Raw) on the USA Network each week. After a rough start, it became something of a bonafide hit when Mario Lopez, formerly of Saved By The Bell, joined the show as one of the new leads. With the network wanting synergy, Triple H appeared one week in a small role. It seems like he's playing himself: His name is Triple H, he wears a D-Generation X t-shirt, he does crotch chops, and the D-Generation X theme song plays during his first scene. For all intents and purposes, we're given the impression that this is WWF Superstar Triple H moonlighting as a bodyguard/heavy to make extra money. So, what's the problem with this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKlHxEwXyYw His employers are evil pornographers knowingly making videos with underage girls. So one of the top good guys in the WWF at the time was enabling statutory rape and the creation of child pornography in the universe of the lead-out of their number two TV show. Why was he sort of playing himself in the first place? It's not like the wrestling fans wouldn't recognize him without his T-shirt and entrance music, right? RIGHT?
