10 Bizarre Wrestling Movies You Must Watch

4. Monster Brawl (2011)

sting moment of truth
Anchor Bay Entertainment

Monster Brawl is a movie about classic cinematic monsters having super-powered wrestling matches, complete with bad commentary. It's like someone peered inside my heart and tried to make a movie that I would love unconditionally. There's even a tournament! I'm not made of stone.

Oh, and what a bracket it is: Frankenstein's Monster, a werewolf, a vampire lady, a mummy (yessssss), a zombie managed by Kevin Nash, and a swamp monster that is, regrettably, not managed by Chuck Taylor. They all get Lucha Underground-style origin videos before their matches, which are all cartoonishly grotesque; it's like Paul Heyman teamed up with Sam Raimi or something.

As mentioned above, Kevin Nash is in the film as the zombie's shady military handler, but it also features former Oddity Kurrgan as the Frankenstein Monster, which is the casting equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel. Jimmy Hart is also on hand for no reason that is specified, but I like to imagine he's scouting talent for the Dungeon of Doom.

Like, Kevin Sullivan is just offscreen taking applications and giving away promotional pens.

Immortal Dialogue: "Creatures conference middleweight title match: CYCLOPS VERSUS WITCH BITCH."
