10 Bizarre WWE Experiments You Totally Don't Remember
3. No Wrestling In Ad Breaks
Vince McMahon is not a normal person. We know that now more than ever.
He doesn't think in the same way other people think, probably because he hasn't gotten more than two hours of sleep a night since 1981.
As a result, Vince sometimes just decides that he doesn't like something all of a sudden. Sneezing, tacos, the Federal government, and in 2019, wrestling during ad breaks.
Vinnie Mac suddently decided that something he had been doing on Raw for the better part of thirty years wasn't good enough anymore. This meltdown led to some drastic on-screen changes, as basically every match on TV either ran short, was two-out-of-three falls, or was a gauntlet match.
In an ironic twist of fate, this completely disrupted the flow of the show. Instead of returning from commercial towards the exciting conclusion of a match, viewers were instead greeted with the sight of two wrestlers awkwardly warming up and waiting for the bell to ring again.
And imagine how terrible this would have been live!
In the end, Vince saw sense and allowed wrestling to return to ad breaks.
And that's the last time anyone will ever type the words "Vince saw sense".
