2. A “Darker” Third Hour

You know how in sci-fi you get those characters who take everything way too literal? Think Mr. Spock or Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Now, you can chuck Mick Foley into that list, as he took the phrase "make Raw darker" much too literally in 2019.

On the 20 May edition of Raw, the Raw GM came out to the ring to introduce the accursed 24/7 Championship. Sadly, Nikki Cross did not travel back in time to throw the belt in a bin before it was even created.

She probably would have missed anyway.

Alongside the olive green belt, Foley promised audiences that the third hour of Raw would get "downright mean and nasty" and "a little bit dirty.” Why does this sound like he's about to get naked?

If he did strip down to his Dude Loves, then we wouldn't have been able to see it. The lights around the arena dimmed, literally making the third hour darker.

This baffling initiative lasted a handful of weeks and was never seen or heard from again.

But not before it gave us one of the strangest one-off segments in WWE history.
