10 Bizarre WWE Experiments You Totally Don't Remember

1. The Electric Chair

Rounding off our trilogy of weird stuff that happened in 2019 is this one-off segment from the 27th May edition of Raw that year.

Just one week after fans were promised a "darker" version of Raw, Corey Graves called out Sami Zayn to sit in his Electric Chair. Here, Zayn would be forced to answer questions from the WWE Universe and he would have to tell the truth.

Otherwise... they'd execute him? What was the actual threat here?

Zayn took supposedly-unvetted questions from the audience, which were provided by WWE's fleet of backstage announcers. After answering asinine queries about the Universal Championship, his retirement, and Mixed Match Challenge, Sami went on a tirade.

He berated the audience for not asking his better questions, saying that they could ask him about anything from his personal life, to his love life, to AEW...

Yes, Zayn actually mentioned the competition live on air just two days after their first pay-per-view.

The segment was awful from start to end until Seth Rollins came out and threw the chair out the ring.

He must have damaged it badly, because this segment was never brought out again.

WWE - what a weird place.
