10 Blockbuster WWE Returns That Would Improve Ratings Immediately

3. Batista

Of all the superstars on this list, Batista seems the least likely to return. He's been critical of WWE in the past - especially when it comes to his brief run last year - and, however implausible it may seem, he's now become the second most successful wrestler-turned-actor of all time. With a full film schedule and no financial worries, Batista doesn't need any part of WWE. WWE could certainly use someone with Batista's cachet, though - when he came back to the company in January of 2014, his return segment drew a huge rating. While he tapered off as a draw, that can be chalked up to circumstances - fans were more interested in seeing Daniel Bryan as a top babyface than Batista, and having gotten their irritation at Big Dave out of their systems, they may be willing to accept him in whatever role he plays. Plus, with the release and success of Guardians of the Galaxy, he's become a celebrity, which never hurts one's popularity. Most importantly, it would take the right offer to convince "The Animal" to work a limited schedule leading into WrestleMania - and "the right offer" means more than money for a man who's getting paid well in Hollywood. Batista has repeatedly mentioned that, despite his reservations with WWE, he'd love to end his career with one final match at WrestleMania against Triple H. If the company could deliver that program, Raw may get a huge name in return.
