10 Bold Predictions For WWE In 2018

4. ...but Triple H Does

Triple H Universal Champion
WWE

Survivor Series 2017 was an unwelcome reminder of a time many thought had finally been confined to history. Untempered by veterans with an ego unchecked by those far superior to him, the worst version of Triple H rose again to claim back a position he'd perhaps never even relinquished.

Those that lived through his reign of terror on Monday Night Raw between 2002 and 2005 wished never again to experience the torment, but we were greeted with fistfuls during the opening portion of the Thanksgiving classic's main event.

With deft touch, he reduced upcoming new stars to rubble with keen use of his physical presence. With creative control, he constructed scenarios designed to relegate others around him. Worst of all, he got to win.

Having spent nearly a decade shaking off his reputation for the above, the most insecure-yet-secure superstar in WWE history shifted shape back into 'The Game' of old, and the look on his face suggested that it felt pretty good.

Who could deny the self-proclaimed 'King Of Kings' another spell on the throne? More importantly, who can literally script it in the first place?
