10 Bold Predictions For WWE In 2018

3. Shane & Stephanie McMahon Are Removed From Teleivison

Recent events on SmackDown Live! have implied that a once-unthinkable WrestleMania return may be back on the agenda (more on that later), and if that results in Shane McMahon suddenly finding himself ousted from WWE's on-screen corridor of power, there's a slim hope his sister might f*ck off as well.

Cast as the 'Commissioners' of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live! respectively, Stephane and Shane get to play any version of themselves they like week-to-week as it suits them, rather than the storyline in question. But in doing so, neither have managed to foster particularly prosperous relationships with their underlings.

Frostiness abounds on the blue brand between Shane and General Manager Daniel Bryan, whilst ice queen Stephanie seems to actively relish conflict with her own staff unless she's flicked the switch in the back of her neck to 'philanthropic' and has some sort of transparent declaration to deliver.

The pair have made WrestleMania their playground in recent years, with Stephanie choosing the biggest night to take faint comeuppance (usually not from the person who should really be dishing it out), whilst Shane plays mirror man against the company's best and brightest.

With Dad likely to be physically and mentally invested elsewhere (Alpha Entertainment, PAL), might Triple H's latest crowd-pleasing decree result in a sharper exit for the silver spoon sh*theads?
