10 Bold Predictions For WWE In 2018

2. Daniel Bryan Wrestles At WrestleMania

Triple H Universal Champion
WWE

Daniel Bryan donning burgundy once again in 2018 was hardly a radical assertion following the man's own comments about returning to the ring the very second he was free from a WWE contract. But until recently, little speculation suggested the company may possibly go back on their original prognosis that barred him in the first place. That would change everything.

An indie darling to the bitter end, 'open-armed' would be understating the welcome Bryan would receive from countless companies likely willing to pay top dollar to bring the 'Yes Man' to their shows, but he'd be hard-pushed to refuse an equally generous Vince McMahon offer should the Chairman give him the chance to return on the grandest stage.

Daniel himself may have exhibited a Scott Steiner-esque grasp on numeracy when he posited muddled percentages relating to a return, but recent on-screen hostilities with Shane McMahon have added significant fuel to rumours that the physicality ban may finally have been lifted.

Of course, that may be down to Bryan's typically shrewd internal operations. If he's played to the known McMahon ego (and a potential WrestleMania match with 'The Money') to gain ultimate satisfaction, he'll have beaten the system from within in much the same way his on-screen character did in 2014.
