10 BOLD Predictions For WWE In 2020

8. SmackDown Will Tumble To Below 2 Million Viewers

Bust-Up Triple H Vince McMahon

SmackDown is the Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard show. It is one bowel movement away from literal dog sh*t, and Vince McMahon loves a bowel movement.

He is incontinent with sh*tty ideas in 2019, literally says "F*ck 'em!" when his audience rejects the product, and isn't positioned for a Tiger Woods-style roaring comeback. He is 74 years old, his work is symptomatic of a decaying mind, and he pushes Baron Corbin because he's tall. SmackDown is his "baby" show and is thus the worst show, just like RAW was the worst show when it was his baby show. Already, SmackDown feels drastically removed from relevance.

Roman Reigns is the subject of rotten prop comedy, Corbin is the grating, unfunny-on-purpose heel, Shorty G is what happens when Vince clasps eyes on an expert technician, the tag scene is just blah, Bayley is yet another one of your "Screw the fans" type heels but she's so browbeaten and uninteresting now that it just feels sad, Bray Wyatt is goofy and unbelievable and that grand unified theory, that people just aren't the same after facing him, only works because of course they're going to be more interesting after being bathed in a red light.

SmackDown on Fox is a bad version of a boring old WWE show. It shouldn't fall below 2 million - the promotion was so committed - but it will, and Vince won't fire himself.

But he will fire...
