4. Finn Balor Wins The Royal Rumble
The 2017 Royal Rumble has to be one of the most open and difficult to predict in the history of the event. With two world championships in WWE again, determining who the winner of the famous match will be is nigh on impossible, unlike the past few years.
Of active roster members, only the likes of Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns stand out as potential winners, while both Goldberg and Brock Lesnar will also be frontrunners but seem more likely to eliminate one another to continue their feud without a championship involved.
As an outside bet then, Finn Balor could be a great shout of returning from injury for a shock Rumble win. The Irish superstar was destined for great things in 2016, becoming the first WWE Universal Champion but having to vacate it the very next night due to a shoulder injury. And while Balor has claimed that he won't be ready to return until WrestleMania at the earliest, you'll forgive us as lifelong wrestling viewers for taking that with a pinch of salt. An early return and Rumble win for Balor would blow the roof off the Alamodome and we sincerely hope it happens.
