1. Roman Reigns Takes On Hollywood
As previously discussed, if things go as expected at WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns’ historic reign (no pun intended) as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will come to an end, with Cody Rhodes walking out with the belt. This would likely see the ‘Tribal Chief’ take a leave of absence from WWE. A natural next step for Reigns could be a foray into Hollywood.
Following in the footsteps of the likes of John Cena, Batista and The Rock, it stands to reason that the ‘Head of the Table’ would try his hand at acting after losing his title at WrestleMania. He has built a big enough profile over the past four years and his acting chops are better than many believed them to be after his initial WWE run. An appearance alongside his cousin in ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ showed off just a small portion of his acting abilities, and it seems plausible to expect him to get more high-profile gigs as the years roll on.
Although there is every chance that Reigns sticks around for high-profile programmes throughout the summer, a step into cinema is something that Reigns himself has expressed an interest in. During an interview with ESPN in 2022, he explained that he has plans to “dabble” in acting and it seems highly logical to expect to see him dip his feet into the waters of Hollywood before 2024 is over.
