10 Bold WWE Predictions For The Rest Of 2019

John Cena is starting to become actually famous now, and not just as a meme.

The 16-time World Champion and seller of brightly-coloured crap is now fully immersed in the world of feature film, appearing in big budget flicks like Trainwreck, Blockers, and Bumblebee. Cena has also been cast in the new Fast and Furious movie, one of the most successful film franchises of all time.

With Cena busy dropping Five Knuckle Shuffles on Hollywood, it's unlikely that he'll have much time for wrestling going forward. WWE could do with Cena what they do with The Rock - use him for sporadic appearances at big events - but they could also use Big Match John in one last programme before he heads off to Tinseltown for good.

If Cena is going to take a step back from or even step away entirely from wrestling, then WWE may want to employ the time-honoured tradition of putting over a younger star on the way out.

Cena could enter a programme with someone like Adam Cole or Matt Riddle, losing to them in his final match. Whilst WWE may save this for WrestleMania, Cena's rapidly-ascending star may force their hand early.
