10 Bold WWE Predictions For The Rest Of 2019
5. More Main Roster Stars To NXT
As it turns out, it's not just wrestling fans who prefer NXT to the main roster: it's the actual wrestlers too.
Former NXT mega star and main roster...employee, Tyler Breeze, made a surprise appearance for the black and yellow brand back in December of last year. Shortly after WrestleMania 35, Breeze turned up in NXT again, this time on a full-time basis.
Breeze's match against Velveteen Dream at TakeOver: XXV received rave reviews and Prince Pretty is finally being used to his full potential. And he's not the only misused main roster talent who might be getting a career face-lift.
Now, look away if you don't want any NXT spoilers for the next few weeks, but some of Tyler's main roster buddies have decided to join him back in Full Sail.
Apollo Crews will be making a shock return to NXT to take on KUSHIDA in the next few weeks, and Breeze's old Fashion Police partner, Fandango, also appeared at Full Sail to save his pal from an attack by The Forgotten Sons.
Triple H has said many times that more main roster stars will be appearing in NXT and it looks like some of them will do so on a permanent basis. As the main roster becomes more and more crowded, we could see even more under-appreciated main roster performers go back to their roots.
