10 Booking Decisions AEW Should Make Before Double Or Nothing 2023

3. Fix The Mess That Is Rampage

Right, where to start with this one?

Rampage should be a snappy complement to the main Dynamite flagship. Interesting stories that can't get minutes on Wednesdays should seek solace on Friday nights, so there are no reasonable excuses for why Rampage has been such a state for much of 2022.

Tony has to sit down and seriously think about what he wants the third hour to be. Is it Dynamite-lite? Is it Sunday Night Heat? Or, is it a blistering, must-see weekly that shines just as brightly as the main show? Fans were kinda hoping it'd be the latter - at least, that's what Rampage was presented as before launch.

It'd be great to see the show become more important heading into Double Or Nothing season. Dynamite is often bursting with content, so it wouldn't be a hassle to keep one or two of those matches/moments back for Rampage every week.

It's either that or the program dies a slow death next year.
