8. A Change Of Heart
Following the Elimination Chamber, AJ Styles will only have one thing on his mind - Kenny Omega. He won't be thinking about John Cena, he won't even be thinking about the WWE Championship - all he'll want is to get his hands on his former running buddy after the Chamber betrayal.
That will present a problem, as technically, Kenny Omega isn't part of WWE. According to Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan, Omega was at Elimination Chamber for negotiations with him and Shane McMahon, but given the way he affected the main event, they're not too keen on signing him.
That'll send Styles on a rampage - but as an anti-hero babyface. He'll interrupt matches and attack stars (mostly heels) until he's granted a match with Kenny Omega. No matter what it takes - whether it's a contract for "The Cleaner," or just a non-sanctioned bout - Styles will demand that Bryan and McMahon make it happen. Eventually, the Commissioner will relent, telling the increasingly popular "Phenomenal One" that he'll make it happen.
