10 Booking Steps For Roman Reigns' WWE Return

1. Match Set Up Between The Rock & Roman Reigns

There's obvious history between Roman Reigns and The Rock, not just from their heritage away from the ring, but also in WWE itself. The aforementioned attempt of The Rock to endorse Roman at the 2015 Royal Rumble is an important plot point here, and clearly there would have been the Reigns attack on Rock and the latter's subsequent revenge.

The night after SummerSlam, The Rock would again call out Reigns. This time, Roman is more than willing to meet the challenge head on, and the pair schedule a match for an upcoming pay-per-view. WWE have several choices here, but there's a WrestleMania quality to such a bout.

After SummerSlam, WWE have Night Of Champions and Hell In A Cell before they get to Survivor Series. As a traditionally big pay-per-view, that last event may be the best choice if the company want to book the match before 'Mania.

Rock remains popular, and he'd help endorse Reigns (this time in proper fashion) as a heel if he stared at the lights for him. It's a marquee match with a conclusion WWE can work with going forward.
