10 Booking Steps For The Rock vs Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 32

6. Reigns Turns On His Family

When The Rock returns a few weeks later to call out Rousey and Heyman, he is instead greeted by his cousin, Roman Reigns. Have Reigns unsuccessfully try to beat Rollins on several occasions, leading him to wonder where it all went wrong for him. Through some questionable logic, Reigns finally arrives at the idea that it's his family's fault. His legendary ancestors have done it all, and 2015 has been unkind to Reigns' position in his family. His cousin stole his spotlight at the Royal Rumble, and actually ended up forcing him to have to take on Daniel Bryan to earn a spot that should've been rightfully his. His other cousins have had amazingly successful runs as WWE Tag Team Champions. His Uncle Rikishi was inducted into the Hall of Fame in March. All of that made Reigns look weak and not good enough, and that's only what happened since January. Reigns as a face has been stale almost since the moment that The Shield split up. Give him reasons to go insane and take out his many frustrations over his high-profile losses, endless amounts of booing, and crazy expectations due to his family tree. Have him take out the biggest, most high-profile and successful branch of that family tree, and decimate The Rock. The two fight at Night of Champions, and The Rock comes out victorious after a bloody contest. Roman goes to shake his cousin's hand, before pulling him in for a Samoan Drop, leaving The Rock lying in the center of the ring.
