10 Booking Steps For The Rock's WWE Return
4. He Leads The Usos To Turn On Roman
Following both The Rock and Roman Reigns' victories at Fastlane, they should face off once more on Smackdown, cutting vicious promos and declaring their intention to face each other at WrestleMania 38. They should degrade each other with this interaction, tear each other apart with their words, attacking their respective reputations and their entire characters.
Once again, The Rock should direct some of his promo towards The Usos, but specifically talk about how much Jey earned his respect, detailing his potential when he's not trapped by his cousin.
At the end of their verbal sparring, Roman should finally spear The Rock, flooring him with the brutal attack and attempting to lock on the Guillotine Choke as he demands support from The Usos. However, Jey surprisingly superkicks Roman, much to the outlandish surprise of Paul Heyman at ringside. After a brief look of pleading from Jey, Jimmy supports his brother and superkicks Roman as well, before doing double frog splashes on the Tribal Chief.
Following their surprise attack, the two help The Rock to his feet and raise his arms, as the Bloodline collapses completely. This is a great way to further Roman's character and pay off the Usos storyline.
