10 Booking Steps For Turning Bray Wyatt Into A New Undertaker

9. Show A Complete Disregard For The Authority

The Authority are the biggest heels in WWE, and they aren€™t even wrestlers. Because they hold all the power, they don€™t have to fear anyone overstepping their decisions. Of course, that makes sense for most €˜normal€™ people working in WWE, because the Authority is supposed to be a caricature of the typical over-bearing boss. But that power shouldn€™t apply to Bray Wyatt. During the Attitude Era, Undertaker flaunted the authority on several occasions: he (and Kane) €˜broke€™ Mr. McMahon€™s ankle, he kidnapped Stephanie, and he routinely demolished Vince€™s hired goons. As for Wyatt, he hasn€™t crossed paths with the Authority in a significant way, but given how both groups are booked, a confrontation between his family and the Authority is inevitable. And when that happens, Wyatt needs to defy them. He needs to show the world that he isn€™t afraid of anyone, least of all a duo who, in his mind, has artificial power that means nothing to him. For Wyatt to be presented as strongly as possible, he cannot be seen as inferior to the Authority, or intimidated by them. Wyatt needs to laugh in their faces, and if possible, attack Triple H out of the simple virtue of seeing himself as superior to them. Doing so would improve Wyatt€™s presentation to fans, especially since pretty much everyone on the roster right now is shown to be too afraid to stand up to the Authority in any way.
