10 Booking Steps For Turning Bray Wyatt Into A New Undertaker

8. A Protected Main Finisher And A Dangerous Second One

Bray Wyatt€™s €˜Sister Abigail€™ finisher is a unique finisher that looks really good on television. Wyatt puts the right amount of spin into the move, making it look far more impactful than it really is. Unfortunately, this good finisher has started to lose some of its luster because other wrestlers have started to kick out of it. In response to this trend, WWE should return to booking the Sister Abigail as a dangerous move that no one gets up from. As soon as Wyatt kisses his opponent€™s forehead, that should be a guaranteed sign that his opponents are down for the three-count. If his finisher is portrayed as such a devastating maneuver, it€™ll be that much more exciting to see him use it, and to see people fight out of it. But to make Wyatt even more of a major threat, he needs a secondary finisher that likewise presents him as a top threat. For any situation where Sister Abigail doesn€™t do the job, Wyatt should have a secondary finisher that would demonstrate the kind of cold brutality and remorselessness that defines his character. After all, the Undertaker€™s Tombstone Piledriver was highly protected for many years, and when people started kicking out of it, he added the Chokeslam, the Last Ride, and the Hell€™s Gate to his repertoire to maintain his status as an incredibly-dangerous foe.
