9. The New Day Cost Bubba Ray Match Against Big E/Kofi Kingston
Michael Cole clued fans in on Raw, The Dudley Boyz will face The New Day at the upcoming 'Live From Madison Square Garden' special on October 3rd. It seems the match will be just another straight ahead tag encounter, and the promotion must be saving the Table stipulation for Hell In A Cell. It makes sense that The Dudleyz will lose if the match is for the WWE Tag-Team Titles. It'd be far more satisfying if the babyfaces captured the belts in a Tables Match somewhere down the road. From a booking perspective, that just makes sense. WWE may elect to put the titles on them at MSG, but there's no real need to pull the trigger until the time is right. This coming week, creative could mix things up and book a singles match for Raw. There was a cool vibe when Bubba Dudley briefly wrestled Big E during the 6-man tag match on Raw. That could be one idea for a one-on-one bout. Similarly, Kofi Kingston could bump around nicely for the larger Dudley. If The New Day continue to pull a fast one over The Dudley Boyz, it'll only build anticipation for that inevitable title win.
