10 Booking Steps For WWE Monday Night Raw

8. Summer Rae Accidentally Costs Rusev Match

Speaking of losing steam, that's exactly what has happened to the Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler feud recently. Injuries to Rusev and - latterly - Lana have not helped proceedings, because WWE were surely lining up for a big mixed person tag-team match at Night Of Champions. Looking to buy themselves time, creative have thrown more soap opera into the angle. Summer Rae's assertions that Ziggler and she have had a sexual relationship are fine, but it was confusing to see Rusev simply forgive her without argument last week on Raw. Given the fact Ziggler was the reason Lana left him in the first place, shouldn't the big Bulgarian have been furious? One way to rescue the botched angle may be to have Summer accidentally cost Rusev a match this coming week. By doing so, Rusev would have motivation to become a heated heel again, instead of someone who lets people walk all over him without batting an eyelid. Right now, Rusev should be the one out for revenge on Ziggler, giving fans a reason to sympathise with Dolph after he gets beaten down. Raw needs to be a reboot for the feud, otherwise it's going to die a slow death.
