Based on... well... every bit of evidence, NXT's four biggest stars are Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Tomasso Ciampa, and Shayna Baszler. For their debut show on the USA Network, the most we saw of these four was that two of them stood on a ramp after someone else's match. There's keeping your proverbial powder dry, but this felt more like leaving all your big guns in the garage because you don't know what you want to point them at yet.

I mean, imagine asking a first-time viewer to tell you who they thought NXT's biggest star was after last week? Given that he got a highlighting segment, wasn't roundly beaten up, and actually got to talk, it's probably Walter. A man who isn't even a full-time member of this roster and carries the championship belt for a sister promotion on another continent.

Whoever's back you're loading your hope on here - whether or not they're existing members of the brand - hint hint - needs to be front and centre as soon as possible. Never mind TakeOver in two months, you've got AEW coming next week and you can bet your mortgage on them going in hard on the star power from the offset.
