Jinder Mahal bagged himself a contract on Monday Night Raw by turning on his former buddy Heath Slater and picking up a win several weeks ago. Mick Foley liked Mahal's aggression and determination to make a statement, but it makes sense to imagine that Jinder will be a heel when he re-emerges.

Cut short by Jinder Mahal, Curtis Axel would be in the ring talking about how he is the main star of Raw and wants to make an impact by beating anyone in the backstage area. That's when Mahal comes out, although WWE would be wise to stay away from the 'rich Indian royalty' gimmick they tried years ago with the man.

Somewhat oddly, that wasn't a great fit for him, partly because the writing team didn't give him much of interest to say or do. Mahal would need to beat Axel, mainly due to this being his first proper appearance back on Raw.

After winning, he'd be surprised by a Heath Slater run in. This time, Slater gains the upper hand on his new foe, getting some measure of revenge.
