There's an emerging alliance developing on Monday Night Raw between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Furious over how he had been treated by Enzo Amore and Big Cass last time around, Y2J told Tom Phillips that he had some back up in mind. When it became clear that he was all talk, Owens offered to step into the breach and look out for his Canadian counterpart.

The clear insinuation last week was that Jericho had no problem slapping Enzo around, but fell from his bullying perch once Big Cass arrived on the scene. In a straight singles match this coming week, Cass would pick up the win.

Afterwards, Amore and his 7 foot buddy poke fun at Jericho's misfortune, As they go to leave, Amore is ambushed on the ramp by Owens, who screams at Cass (still in the ring) to come get him. When the larger man does, he's hit with a Codebreaker by Jericho, instantly setting up the need for a tag-team match between both sides in the very near future.

That could even happen next week, if the SummerSlam card is too stacked.
