10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Feb 8)

4. AJ Styles And Chris Jericho Defeat The Social Outcasts

Recently, Chris Jericho cut a promo saying that he had immense respect for AJ Styles following their match on Raw previously. Then on Smackdown, he watched Styles defeat The Miz and challenged the former TNA star to a rematch. It appears that bout will play a huge part in next week's Smackdown broadcast, so it makes sense that there would be some build to it on Monday Night Raw. A relatively simple way to go about things would be to pitch AJ and Jericho as temporary tag-team partners. Not only would this tease dissension, but it'd also potentially give The Social Outcasts some more air time. Realistically, Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and Adam Rose don't really need to be winning matches. That could be a road WWE wish to go down, but it'd be cool to see Y2J and Styles emerge victorious. People have been speculating that Jericho will turn heel shortly, which could happen in a mini-feud against AJ. After their win against The Social Outcasts, both could shake hands, before Jericho could pull Styles in, smile and ruffle his hair. Something like that would be viewed as disrespectful from the veteran Canadian, and would add a little spice to their impending battle on Smackdown.
