Just like their peers in The Social Outcasts, R-Truth and Goldust are an odd couple tag-team that aren't necessarily going to be defined by wins and losses. Indeed, there's a harmless quality to the tandem, and they could get some ring time on the next episode of Raw. On that show, The New Day could belittle and defeat them, warning that they need some real competition in time for WrestleMania. This means that WWE have a lot of options open to them for the biggest show of the year. They could indulge the division and book a multi-team match at 'Mania, or they could reinstall The Usos as the main challengers for The New Day and the WWE Tag-Team Titles. Whatever happens, at least there are choices available. The very nature of R-Truth and Goldust teaming together begs for them to be dysfunctional. Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston could marvel at their argumentative nature, baffled by their wacky personalities. In a funny moment, Kofi could even grab the mic and remark that New Day are supposed to be the ones playing the mind games, not the other way around. This could be throwaway, but it'd introduce the concept of a new team.
