10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Jan 11)

2. Roman Reigns Defeats Rusev Then League Of Nations Attack

In a perfect world, Roman Reigns will be made to look vulnerable before putting the WWE Title on the line in the Royal Rumble. That in mind, it's implausible to imagine that WWE won't continue booking him to win matches on the road to the event. On Monday Night Raw, he could once again overcome the odds to defeat Rusev, before the other sharks in the League Of Nations decided to attack the champion. The match would be pretty routine, but there's a bigger story to work with here. After battering Reigns for an extended period, Sheamus could continually shout to his League Of Nations colleagues that they must keep him lucid and conscious. The reason for this would be revealed shortly thereafter, a blockbuster announcement which definitely seems to be forthcoming. If WWE want to add some more intrigue to the actual match itself, Scott Armstrong could be posted as the official for the bout. Of course, Armstrong was seemingly paid off by Vince McMahon as back up for last week's Sheamus vs. Reigns title match. The League Of Nations could even batter him mercilessly post-match, for defying them and counting the pin for a Roman Reigns victory.
