3. Intercontinental Title Street Fight Made For Royal Rumble
As aforementioned during an earlier entry, there won't be a separate WWE World Heavyweight Title match at the Royal Rumble. Instead, the title has been incorporated into the annual over-the-top-rope bout. This provides some more scope for other matches on the card, and one of them absolutely must be another absorbing encounter between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens. Over the past while, both guys have been working wonders when positioned opposite one another. The latest chapter in their rivalry ended with a sizeable bang on Smackdown. Crashing through tables together, Ambrose and Owens had also pieced together a great brawl over the Intercontinental Title. On Raw, they could assess that they must settle their differences without any rules. This could lead to Ambrose putting out the challenge for a 'Street Fight' against Owens. Once the challenger determined that the champion was willing to put his title on the line, the match could be made official later in the show by WWE. In the co-main event slot, right alongside the Rumble, this would be tremendous. Alternatively, if Ambrose and Owens will be in the Rumble, they could open the pay-per-view.
