3. Braun Strowman Claims He Didn't Run From Brock Lesnar

Last week, Braun Strowman decided against entering the ring and going toe-to-toe with a fired up Brock Lesnar. This might signal a lack of faith in Strowman from the writing team. WWE clearly don't feel Strowman is at a level where he should be destroying Brock Lesnar.

Whilst it's true that he would normally rush headfirst into battle, Braun could also explain his actions as playing it smart.

All about picking his spots, Strowman says he will get back at Lesnar for publicly trying to embarrass him during the Royal Rumble match itself. What did he have to gain by getting physical with Brock on Raw? Come pay-per-view time, it'll be very different, and that must be the crux of his promo time.

Strowman says that he's on 'Team Braun', and that hasn't changed even though Survivor Series is over. It's not in his interest to entertain the fans. He will fight Brock Lesnar when the time is right.

Braun needs to save some face from last week, because it did come across like he was intimidated by a rampaging Brock and couldn't handle what was happening.
