Thus far, Titus O'Neil has had the advantage when meeting Rusev face-to-face. Over the past few shows, he's managed to run the heel away, saving the likes of Kalisto and Jack Swagger from further damage. That's something villains in WWE should be paying attention to, looking to get the advantage in a more sneaky manner.

As O'Neil stared down Lana, telling her to get out of the way over the mic, Rusev would attack from behind. Running through the live crowd, the United States Champ hammers his potential challenger with the title belt, before locking on his patented submission move.

Yelling out in pain, Titus O'Neil would succumb to the Accolade. Meanwhile, Lana enters the ring and repeatedly taunts him over the same microphone O'Neil used to call out Rusev. This was what he wanted, and his stupidity has landed him in trouble.

Such a segment would provide simple build towards the impending title match. By defeating The Social Outcasts, Titus deserves the chance to face the conniving Rusev, who then ambushed him from behind in cowardly fashion.
