It's pretty clear that Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson will face The New Day for the WWE Tag-Team Titles at some point. Looking at things logically, they haven't really done much to merit such a chance, so that's something WWE should look to tie up on Monday Night Raw. There's a simple way to do it.

Once again demanding a title shot during a backstage promo, The Club are then approached by Shane McMahon. Stating that he admires their self-belief and ambition, Shane doesn't think he can just hand a shot to Gallows and Anderson without them first earning one. After all, The Vaudevillains had to go through a tournament to earn that chance.

Realising that there are only a few weeks before Money In The Bank, McMahon then goes on to tell The Club that they can become top contenders if they can defeat The New Day in a 6-man tag-team bout on SmackDown.

Instantly, SmackDown then has a huge match with some storyline context signed. This would explain why Gallows and Anderson are suddenly being thrust into the title scene.
