At the moment, The Miz doesn't really have a proper rival for the WWE Intercontinental Title. Most of the men he had been feuding with are involved in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, leaving the champion without a top challenger. For now, he could go back to playing the role of obnoxious host.

Miz is the kind of person to stick his nose into the business of others, which could provide Raw with a solid Miz TV skit. A few weeks ago, Sheamus attacked Apollo Crews backstage, likely due to frustration over the idea of guys like Crews being labelled 'New Era'.

That's something Miz would want to solve on Monday Night Raw, inviting the pair out to settle their issues on his show. This seemingly innocent forum would lead to Crews getting blind-sided by Miz with the Intercontinental Title, as the old guard stick together to lay into the newcomer feasibly looking to take their spots.

Then, The Big Show could even make a run-in, saving Apollo from further damage and calling out The Miz for getting involved.
