All evening, little hype videos would be shown, presenting the moments when The Miz and Roman Reigns won their respective titles. On commentary, Michael Cole and Byron Saxton would question why this match was even made, all because Seth Rollins said so. Meanwhile, JBL backs up the heel, as he normally does.

It could also be revealed that both the WWE and Intercontinental Titles are on the line, something that wouldn't be a problem is the match went to a non-finish. In a perfect world, The Miz could look competitive against Roman Reigns, even if it would eventually look like Reigns was going to win.

As he was setting up for a Spear, Reigns would be distracted by the appearance of Seth Rollins. The Miz then goes for a sneaky roll-up, gaining a near fall, before Roman sets up again for his finishing move. At that point, Rollins would enter the ring and smash his rival over the back with a steel chair.

Reigns is thus announced the winner, but no titles can change hands with that kind of decision.
