10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Oct 3)
7. Noam Dar & Jack Gallagher Make Their Raw Debuts
T.J Perkins is the main man in the new Cruiserweight division on Monday Night Raw. As the reigning WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Perkins will have a rematch against Brian Kendrick later in the show. That fact doesn't mean the creative team won't eat up some minutes by debuting fresh talent on the same broadcast.
As a preview of sorts for Perkins vs. Kendrick, WWE can continue the recent trend of debuting new faces on their flagship program. Thus far, neither Noam Dar or Jack Gallagher have been able to push their way onto Raw, so this is the ideal opportunity to set that right.
Perhaps the match could be a competitive one, allowing General Manager Mick Foley to then announce that another mini-tournament will take place. The winner of that tournament will then receive a shot at the Cruiserweight Title come Hell In A Cell.
This achieves two things. Firstly, a new challenger for Perkins will be established. Secondly, it allows Brian Kendrick to maintain his bitter veteran character. He could even interfere in the pay-per-view bout.
For now though, it's important to get Dar and Gallagher on screen.
