After two red hot matches to open the program, both Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon can be shown in a boastful mood. Not only are they on the same page again, they're producing some of the best television seen on Raw since the WWE Draft. That's when they turn their attentions to the WWE United States Title situation.

Rusev and Lana haven't been seen on television over the past few weeks, so it's high time they made a return to our screens. Calling out the 'Bulgarian Brute', Foley and McMahon reveal that Rusev will be defending his belt at Clash Of Champions. They're sorry to cut his wedding celebrations short, but they must look after business.

Foley then says that Sami Zayn, Neville, Darren Young, and Titus O'Neil will be in the match next week, with the winner going on to the PPV for a crack at Rusev's title. Showing little emotion throughout the entire speech, Rusev then grabs a microphone and dryly asks if he can get back to his holiday yet.

This puts over Rusev's arrogance, and clears the way for a Sami Zayn underdog challenge.
