10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Sept 19)

2. Seth Rollins & Rusev Go To A Non-Finish Amidst Mass Brawling

There are heavy hints that WWE plan to turn Seth Rollins babyface and feud him with a heel Triple H heading into WrestleMania 33. That's a marquee match for sure, but there doesn't need to be any rush on an alignment change. More importantly, Rollins can't suddenly become a smiling good guy; he needs to maintain his edge.

Unveiled on WWE's official website, the promotion announced that Mick Foley's punishment for Rollins and Rusev was a match against one another on Raw. That's pretty tame, but it could spark a more satisfying main event for the program. Don't forget that, as mentioned in prior booking steps, Kevin Owens would be on guest commentary.

Roman Reigns could also make an appearance, desperate to avenge what happened to him last week at the hands of Rusev. It's plausible that Reigns will poke his nose into the match, and KO won't then be able to sit idly by and watch.

As a mass brawl breaks out, Foley appears and chastises everyone for refusing to follow his orders. Then, he decides to channel the spirit of Teddy Long and book a bumper tag match.
