10 Booking Steps Toward Cesaro Being WWE Champion

7. Cesaro Must Become The Intercontinental Champion

Big E has been the Intercontinental Champion for six months, his win intriguingly spurred on by Paul Heyman calling the power-lifting grappler a "rookie" on the October 13, 2013 episode of Monday Night Raw. The idea of Heyman looping together the storyline connections of Big E defeating then-"Paul Heyman Guy" Curtis Axel for the title, and also claiming that Cesaro is a stronger man than Big E would possibly make for an entertaining segment. The idea of this match being included in the 50-match undefeated streak concept advocated in #3 would be entertaining too, as every match moving forward in said streak would be for the championship. As much as the win elevates Cesaro, the title being affiliated with the streak would elevate it, too.
