6. Cesaro Loses The Intercontinental Title To Sami Zayn
WWE's "New Reality" appears to be something that will evolve into becoming the defining story of 2014. NXT wrestler Sami Zayn could easily be the most ready to immediately contribute of all the wrestlers currently in WWE's developmental territory, and could be the centerpiece of the "New Reality" movement. The story for this has already been set as when Cesaro defeated Zayn on the NXT "Arrival" broadcast on the WWE Network, the two grapplers had a conversation of which the contents have yet to be revealed. The idea that Cesaro told Zayn "we'll do this again with something bigger on the line" would be cool, if that something bigger was match 50 of Cesaro's undefeated streak with the Intercontinental Title being on the line, too. Zayn finally getting his first win over Cesaro in (what would then be) four tries, and taking Cesaro's proposed streak and championship would make Zayn a star and also give Cesaro another moment in his development.
