Dolph Ziggler? More like Dolph Zzzzzigler! Now this isnt going to go over well with a lot of fans, but Ziggler is just kind of boring these days. Just answer me this question, what does Dolph Ziggler stand for? What does he want to accomplish in WWE besides stealing the show? What does that even mean? Shouldnt he be more concerned with winning matches than having entertaining matches? His character doesnt seem to think so. Now dont get me wrong, Dolph is a great wrestler. But hes also the same wrestler he was seven years ago when he first joined WWE. Except now hes a babyface...who still talks about how great he is. But instead of shaking everyones hand that he meets, these days he shakes his butt for us. Im not sure thats a fair trade-off. Ziggler was gaining a bit of momentum not long ago when he teamed up with AJ Lee and Big E, but he was turned babyface too early and slid back down the card. Management seems to have given up on Ziggler ever becoming a top guy, so hes stuck back in the mid-card where hes almost always been. Because hes so good and reliable, Dolph is often called upon to wrestle multiple times a week. While hes probably one of the best guys to fill that role, Im not sure how many more times I can sit through him giving someone the Famouser and having the announcers exclaim how hes about to win. No! Hes not! He never wins with that move! Now where was I yeah, Dolph could probably use some time off to avoid overexposure and to reinvent himself a bit. That would probably be best for us all.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
