10 Bray Wyatt Matches We Never Got In WWE

During his 2018 feud with 'Woken' Matt Hardy, The Eater Of Worlds entered the Hardy Compound for an epic Ultimate Deletion match. To be fair, this ‘match’ was thrilling, but overall the feud fell flat, predominantly because the company had no clue what made either of the Hardy and Wyatt characters cool. Safe to say this did not satisfy fans long-lasting fantasies of what a program between the rivals might look like.

Also, it is mind-boggling that WWE presented this program, without any real involvement from Jeff Hardy or Brother Nero. Sure, he made a brief appearance in the final stages of the Ultimate Deletion affair, but that wasn’t enough.

On the Raw after WrestleMania 34, the night that saw Wyatt re-emerge from the Lake of Reincarnation to align with Matt, Bray shared a backstage segment with the Hardy Boyz. This was a snapshot of what had the promise to become either a wickedly entertaining trio faction, or the birth of a war between Matt’s two brothers from different worlds. Unfortunately, we got neither wish.

To this day, Jeff Hardy has never crossed paths with Bray Wyatt in a wrestling ring, not even in tag team competition. No matter what extravagant or colourful character both men performed under, a program between two extremely crafty and intelligent showmen, could have been electric. It ticks all the boxes, and if handled correctly this match would have been WONDERFUL.
