10 Bray Wyatt Matches We Never Got In WWE
7. Edge
Not every dream match featuring Bray Wyatt needs to match him against an opponent with similar wrestling styles or character traits. There are some which would absolutely be must-see attractions, based on how massive the duelling competitors auras are.
Edge is one of the most recognizable names from the WWE landscape that preceded the arrival of Bray Wyatt in the summer of 2013. Had the Rated-R-Superstar not retired in 2011, Edge vs The Eater of Worlds would almost certainly have been a monumental World Title feud, one which would boast tremendous in-ring encounters, and enthralling character work.
In terms of never-before-seen showdowns, there is still a mountain yet to climb for Edge before officially hanging up his boots. His battles opposite Roman Reigns and Randy Orton have made for largely unmissable television, but this is only the beginning. With Wyatt’s departure, any potential for a contest between the pair leaves with him.
Edge’s poorly-timed triceps injury at last year’s Backlash event ruined any chance he may have had to be confronted by The Fiend on Raw. This program would have a far better use of Wyatt's talents than his dumpster fire squabble with Braun Strowman over the Universal Championship on SmackDown.
Alas, it was not to be.
