El Ligero is one of the UKs most established and respected stars. Starting at the tender age of 16, a common trend in the UK, he is now a 14 year pro at the age of just 30. When the British television show British Wrestling Round Up started compiling a list of the UKs Top Ten wrestlers each month, Ligero was voted no 1 for the first five successive months. He also featured on TNAs British Bootcamp 2 television series last year. Again, Ligero is not in the classic mould of a WWE wrestler, but his size and shape is comparable to Kalisto of the Lucha Dragons and his style is also reminiscent of another former masked star, Sami Zayn (who Ligero had several matches with when he wrestled independently as El Generico). He has wrestled all over the world, including the United States, Italy, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Spain and Belgium. He has also won a staggering 29 different titles across different promotions in the UK. With three man tag teams becoming common in the WWE (The Wyatt Family, New Day and previously The Shield) could The Lucha Dragons draft in El Ligero to even out the numbers in a tag team feud?
