7. The Steiner Brothers Beat Down High Voltage
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtVY7BLNg4M The Match: The Steiner Brothers were always equal opportunity employers. It didnt matter if you were a megastar star like Sting or Vader or a nameless jobberthey were going to throw you on your head. Their opponents for this match, High Voltage, were essentially a jobber tag from the WCW Power Plant that physically looked great but never was given any sort of serious push. This match is far and away the most competitive match on this list but that is only because the late 90s shows did less traditional jobber matches than in previous years. High Voltage takes many a Steiner signature move in this contest and the outcome is never really in doubt. Most Brutal Moment: Is that even a question? Two wordsSteiner Driver. At the end of the match, Scotty executes what is basically a flying tombstone piledriver on Robbie Rage. The move is absolutely insane and how he didnt legitimately kill Rage using it must be a testament to his skill and strength. Remember when CM Punk unleashed a regular piledriver on John Cena during their classic Raw match in 2013? Imagine someone hitting Cena with THIS move today. Amazingly, Rage is able to walk away from this match after it looks like he gets flat out dropped on his head. Final Thought: The Steiners will probably never get their due from the WWE due to Scotty's strained relationship with the company. Yet, they were truly masters of amazingly stiff moves that were one of a kind. Jobbers everywhere are likely very happy that they never have to wrestle these guys in their primes ever again.
