10 Brutal Realisations About WWE Network's Holy Foley!

1. The Atrocious Acting

Mick Noelle Foley
WWE Network

Finally, the number one most brutal realisation about Holy Foley! is undoubtedly that atrocious acting exists throughout the show.

As bad as Mick and Noelle's performances are, the office worker that appears in the episode where Dewey begins his career as an assistant to the WWE writing team takes the cake.

Nearly every person that appears on Holy Foley!, outside of Foley's two youngest sons, have thus far displayed the acting range of Mr. Socko. Obviously, some are worse than others. In addition to the egregious effort put forth by the Mick Foley action figure collector from Stamford, Noelle's lines and facials are delivered so poorly and are so clearly canned that nearly every scene that requires any sort of emotion or "performance" is cringeworthy.

Mick's time spent in front of the cameras hasn't translated into superb acting skills much either, if the scene with Dewey in the Christmas Room is any indication (and it is). Mick's attempt at displaying frustration and anger with his son all the while interjecting oddly-timed comedic bits just come off as fabricated and hokey and it would take most intelligent viewers completely out of the moment.

Obviously, if you're watching Holy Foley! you're not doing so for the exceptional acting performances. At the same time, when networks present a "reality show" where the realest thing about it is the pro-wrestling that takes place on it, you know you're in trouble.
