10 Bullet Club Elite Vs. WWE Dream Matches We'd Like To See
8. Finn Bálor Vs. Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega is certainly no stranger to Finn Bálor. Or rather, he's no stranger to Fergal "Prince" Devitt.
In their time as junior heavyweights in New Japan, Omega and Devitt faced off on a number of occasions, with Devitt being both the clean-cut Apollo 55 babyface, and latterly the nasty leader of Bullet Club.
Omega, however, was markedly different from his current Best Bout Machine persona, wrestling in green pants and generally being a nerdy goofball. While Kenny still breaks out his goofball demeanor from time to time, he's a much more serious competitor nowadays, becoming akin to New Japan's Final Boss, which is appropriate, given he's the champ.
Bálor, meanwhile, has sort of gone in the opposite direction. At the end of his New Japan run, Prince Devitt was a hard-edged, foul-mouthed, take-no-prisoners malcontent who wore his heart on his sleeve. On RAW, Bálor is a grinning git who makes jokes about TGI Fridays and occasionally is allowed to have a great match when not stuck with someone like Baron Corbin.
While all of this would depend on WWE's writing (and that's a scary prospect), the idea of Kenny Omega, a man from Bálor's past, coming back to remind him of the man he used to be, and hashing it out in the ring, is a really cool prospect. Both men have much more experience than when they last met, and it would most certainly deliver from the perspective of match quality.
