Daniel Bryan is another one of those guys who's encountered Kenny Omega in the past. But in 2019, the men and the circumstances around them would be completely different.

It really seems like we shouldn't be talking about the possibility of this match, at least in WWE. We thought that maybe Bryan would have to wait out his contract and go to New Japan to face off against Omega. However, in March, a miracle happened, as WWE finally gave the GOAT medical clearance to return to action. And now with the possibility that come January, the Elite will be swayed to come to WWE, it feels like the stars are aligning. We are talking about the feasible scenario of Daniel Bryan vs. Kenny Omega in a WWE ring.

From a fantasy booking standpoint, it's an obvious choice. Few wrestlers have resonated with large groups of people the way Bryan and Omega have, and their magnetic presences and in-ring acumen would surely bring out the best in both.

Although, given Bryan's history of head injuries, it's doubtful we'd see Omega whip out those particularly nasty-looking V-triggers he utilizes in Japan, but hey, safety first is a good policy.
