Even in this PG era where blood seemingly is completely forbidden, its a fair question to ask whether we will see any crimson on Sunday. Despite WWEs no-blood policy, weve seen a fair amount of blood spilled in big matches recently, just not on the level that we did a decade ago. Some of the most notable examples have been in matches involving either Brock Lesnar or Undertaker, so theres a decent chance that we could see someone get busted open during that Hell in a Cell match. Or perhaps Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns get a little crazy with weapons shots and one of them busts the other open hardway. Its not out of the realm of possibility. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otDaP6F0bwI Blood in wrestling matches used to be the norm (especially in big bouts), but the dynamic has shifted as WWEs focus has changed. While one could easily argue that blood was too prevalent at times, when it does surface nowadays, it reminds fans of just how significant it can be if used properly (and judiciously). So that once again bears the question: Do either of the HIAC matches warrant someone bleeding? One thing is for sure, bleeding during a cell match is not going to stop the hemorrhaging that WWEs ratings have been suffering. But one step at a time.
